Following the catastrophic Southern California 2003 Firestorm Siege, All Terrain Water Corporation, Northtree Fire International and Thermo Technologies joined forces to develop new firefighting methods utilizing Water Enhancing Gel systems for continues protection of life and property. During the Paradise Fire in San Diego County Thermo Gel applications were deployed for structure protection. The California Department of Forestry & Fire Protection Incident Command Team cited that this application was a single factor in saving major structures and numerous senior citizens lives during this rapid moving wildland interface fire. During the 2004 and 2005 fire seasons, our companies worked very close with the California Department of Forestry & Fire Protection to further research and develop the use of water enhancing gel for the California Air Attack program. During the 2006 fire season, water enhancing gel expanded to helicopter direct attack operations and to initial attack operations by line engines in stopping the advancement of a wildland fire.

Currently in 2007, our three companies are working closely together along with State and Federal fire service agencies with further in-depth research, development and designing a rapid deployment fire suppressant gel tender Task Force with specially equipped tactical tenders with a T/F Leader in support to Engine Strike Teams for structure protection and line safety zones for equipment, apparatus and personnel.
