Performance and Evaluation
Gregg Smith and his personnel have been responsible and accountable to be available at all briefings and set up for all missions. Helicopter pilots all gave great reviews and feed back about Gregg Smith, his personnel and his gel mixing plant equipment. Pilots all stated that the gel worked great and suppressed the fire completely out.Gregg Smith was responsible and reasonable to accommodate fire suppression economically. ATWC overall rating of performance is excellent and very professional.

Nobel Fire Initial Attack
Thermo Gel helicopter drops was used to hold fire to allow attack by ground forces to establish lines. Within hours Thermo gel suppressed the fire where water had only minimal effect. ATWC deployed 63,500 gallons for helicopter operations and 8,000 gallons for line application by ground apparatus.
